About Us

The Drug Chemistry Research Centre (DCRC), established on July 10, 2016, in Madhya Pradesh, India, stands as a pioneering institution dedicated to advancing drug research and development within the nation and the world. Operating with a steadfast vision, DCRC employs computstional approaches such as in silico drug discovery; nanotechnology; design and synthesis of molecules; plant extraction and isolation; in vitro activities and screening; and various other related field, to minimize the necessity for real-world experiments. Serving as a translational platform for drug discovery, DCRC synergizes the efforts of informaticians, wet lab researchers, and various stakeholders, including research organizations, clinicians, and hospitals.

DCRC laboratories actively engage in collaborative research initiatives, forging Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with diverse research institutions, laboratories, and industrial entities both within India and internationally. Furthermore, DCRC labs undertake contract-based research endeavors, serving as conduits for extending cutting-edge research on a global scale.

Our Vision

The vision of the centre is to position Drug Chemistry Research Centre as an International centre of excellence for Drug Design and Discovery to discover new chemical entities (NCEs) as drugs for unmet medical needs and provide scientific rationale and validity.

Our Mission

To become a centre of excellence in Drug Design and Discovery along with integrating modern biology with chemistry.

From Director's Desk
